What this topic covers

This paper assesses candidates' understanding of English through objective questions, comprehension of passages, and the ability to summarize information accurately and concisely. It covers lexis (vocabulary, idioms, figurative usage, antonyms, synonyms, spelling, affixes, modifiers) and structure (word forms, sentence structures). Comprehension tests direct recall, mechanical devices, word classes, figures of speech, contextual meaning, and grammatical functions.
