How we work together

A short guide for creators, schools, tutors, and exam communities who want to recommend Learn honestly and get paid for the students they bring.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1.Welcome

Learn is a student operating system. Partners help students find it, then stay with them while they study for real exams.

This handbook is generic on purpose. It applies to every exam category we support. Use it before you post, before you apply, and after you are approved.

The website terms still govern the program. This guide explains the relationship in plain language.

2.Standard partners and founding partners

Anyone can apply on the website. New standard partners earn 25% on eligible net receipts attributed to their code.

New founding partners are a limited group we invite during Learn's early growth. They earn 35%, plus closer contact with the team and earlier access to campaigns.

Partners already approved at a different percentage keep that stored rate. Those older rates are grandfathered. Founding status is not automatic and is not a forever title for every person we later invite. Your Partner Portal shows the exact rate that applies to you. That dashboard number is the source of truth.

3.Your role

Use Learn yourself first. Understand how students find an exam, start practice, read explanations, and review results. Then recommend it in language your audience already uses.

You are not a salesperson reading a script. You are someone who already talks about exam prep and can show where Learn fits.

  • Walk through the product on the exam your audience cares about.
  • Note what feels strong, what is confusing, and what is missing.
  • Tell students the truth about what Learn does today.
  • Keep making your normal educational content. Learn should sit inside that work, not replace it.

4.Product review checklist

Spend real time in the product before you film or post. The goal is to speak naturally and to catch problems we can fix.

  • Create an account and sign in on web and on a phone.
  • Find the exam your audience is preparing for.
  • Start a practice session and finish at least one scored attempt.
  • Read an explanation and check whether it matches how your students think.
  • Look at results, weak topics, and what a student would do next.
  • Try the mobile layout. If something is hard to tap or read, write it down.

5.Tell us what to fix

Partners see the product through their audience. That is valuable. When something is wrong for an exam, send it in.

Approved partners can submit feedback from the Partner Portal. Pick a category, name the exam if you can, and describe what happened.

  • Exam correction: wrong syllabus, outdated paper style, missing topics.
  • Product issue: a flow that breaks, a confusing screen, a mobile problem.
  • Feature suggestion: something students keep asking for.
  • Audience suggestion: how Learn should show up for your community.

6.Content playbook

Keep creating your usual lessons, tips, and walkthroughs. When Learn genuinely helps that exam journey, say so.

Videos work well: a short tour, a practice attempt, or a side-by-side of how you used to prep versus how you prep now. In that process, write down anything that is wrong so we can fix it.

There is no monthly video quota in this public handbook. Specific campaign asks are discussed separately.

  • Use accurate claims. No guaranteed scores and no fake testimonials.
  • Say the student offer clearly: first-month price with your code, then the regular monthly price.
  • Share your referral link or promo code. Students who use your link see the partner price automatically.
  • If Learn later wants to run your video as an ad, we will ask before we spend.

7.Apply, sign up, and log in

Application is free and reviewed in a few business days. You agree to the Partner program terms on the website. There is no offline contract to sign.

If you are not signed in, we save your draft, send you to create an account, then finish the application.

After you apply, open the Partner Portal. Pending means we are reviewing. Approved partners see a welcome screen, then the dashboard.

8.Your promo code and referral links

You get one unique promo code. Students who open your referral link get the first-month price applied automatically. They can also type your code at checkout. You can edit the code until the first paying signup. After that it stays locked.

You also get referral links for Learn and for specific exams. A click on your link stores your code so checkout can apply it. Commission still requires an eligible payment on that code.

One code covers organic posts and Learn campaigns that tell students to use that same code. We are not running a second code for ads.

9.Student prices and your commission

Students who use your code pay the first-month price for that exam, then the regular monthly price. The Partner Program page shows the current NMCN and ICAN amounts.

You earn your portal rate on net receipt: what Learn receives after provider or marketplace charges and any tax, not the list price and not the student's checkout total. The public standard is 25%. New founding partners earn 35%. Already approved partners keep the percentage stored in their portal.

Prices and fees can differ between the website and the app stores. Commission still uses the net on that channel, even when a processing charge is passed to the student.

The commission window is 12 months from that student's first payment. Refunds, chargebacks, and fraud checks can reduce or reverse a commission. After the window, they can still subscribe. You do not earn on those later payments.

10.Tracking signups and commissions

The Partner Portal lists referred signups, first payments, renewals, and a per-payment ledger: student payment, provider or marketplace charges, tax, net receipt, locked rate, commission, channel, and status.

Status is pending (still in the hold), available (ready to request), paid, adjusted, or reversed. Use that history when you talk to your audience. It also helps you see which exam pages convert.

11.Payout details and requests

Add your payout details in the Partner Portal. For naira payouts we need your account name, account number, and bank. Dollar payouts are processed manually.

Web commissions stay on a 14-day hold after the payment before they become available. Store payments stay pending until settlement is confirmed. Learn may place a payout hold while a dispute or review is open.

When you have eligible available commission, request a payout. Learn reviews the request and processes it. A request is not an instant transfer.

You can have one open request per currency at a time. You cannot request more than your available balance.

12.Talking about website and app prices

Website and Android prices are different channels. The website access price is lower. The Android price is the Google Play price for that plan. It includes store distribution costs. Do not tell students that Google adds a separate 30% line item.

On your own social posts, email, website, and messaging apps, you may say that the Learn website costs less and send people there.

Never put that comparison inside the Learn Android app, a Play store listing, a Play screenshot, or a QR code that steers a Play user to Paystack or a cheaper website checkout. Students who start on Play should finish on Play.

13.Ownership, ads, exclusivity, and support

Your content stays yours. Learn will not turn it into a paid ad without agreeing that use with you first.

This program is not exclusive. You can work with other education products. Describe each one honestly. Do not imply Learn endorses another company unless we agree in writing.

Promote lawfully. No bots, no fake reach, no guaranteed scores, and no exam cheating.
