Partner program terms

Last updated: 11 September 2026

These terms apply when you apply to join, or participate in, Learn's Partner Program. They add to Learn's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where something conflicts, these terms apply to the Partner Program only.

1.What the program is

The Partner Program lets approved partners receive one unique promo code. Students who subscribe using that code pay the first-month price for that exam, then the regular monthly price. You earn a commission on what Learn receives after payment fees, including those later payments, for 12 months after their first payment.

The public standard commission is 25%. New founding partners invited by Learn earn 35%. Already approved partners keep the percentage stored in their Partner Portal, even when that number is higher than the current public rates. The portal rate is the rate that applies to you. One code and one attribution system cover students who enter your code, whether they found you organically or through a Learn campaign that uses your code.

Rates, student prices, attribution rules, payout timing, thresholds, currencies, taxes, and the commission window may change. We will post updates in email, the Partner Portal, these terms, or the Partner Handbook. Continuing to promote your code after a change counts as acceptance unless we say otherwise.

2.No separate contract upload

There is nothing to mail in or countersign offline. Signing up means you intend to comply with Learn's Terms of Service together with these program terms — this is intentional so you can qualify at speed.

3.Eligibility and approval

We approve participants at Learn's discretion. We may deny an application without giving a detailed reason, or may withdraw approval later if promotions are misleading or harmful to students, undermine academic integrity rules, or bring Learn into reputational harm. Approved participants must keep account information accurate — including an email we can reliably reach — and cooperate with lawful identity or payout verification when asked.

4.Integrity and lawful promotion

You agree not to advertise or incentivize signup in deceptive or unlawful ways.

  • Respect platform rules wherever you publish (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, school groups, podcasts, campuses, and so forth).
  • Explain Learn honestly: no guaranteed scores, fabricated results, sham testimonials, cloaked redirects, bots, or purchased engagement presented as ordinary reach.
  • Do not impersonate Learn, classmates, lecturers, regulators, insurers, examining bodies with whose marks Learn is associated, Rightal personnel, nor create look-alikes or confusion about affiliation.

Learn complies with Nigerian law and expands globally responsibly. Activities that coerce payments, discriminate unlawfully against protected groups in hiring or instruction, circumvent export controls/sanctions, or promote exam cheating are prohibited and may disqualify payouts.

5.How earnings are calculated

Commissions appear in your dashboard when we attribute an eligible payment to your code. The dashboard is meant to be reconcilable: student payment, minus charges, equals the net Learn received, and your locked rate applies to that net.

  • Gross payment: the amount the student actually paid at checkout, including any processing charge passed through to them.
  • Provider or marketplace charges: Paystack fees on the web, or app-store marketplace fees on Play or the App Store. These can differ by channel.
  • Taxes: any tax collected or withheld on that payment, when it applies.
  • Net receipt: what Learn actually received after those charges and taxes. This is commissionable revenue.
  • Your commission: your locked portal rate multiplied by the net receipt, not by list price and not by the student's checkout total.

List prices and fees can differ between the website and the app stores. A student who pays on Play may pay a different amount than a student who pays on the web. Commission still uses the net Learn received on that channel. If a processing charge is added to the student's bill, you still earn on the net receipt, not on the extra charge.

New standard partners earn 25%. New founding partners earn 35%. If you were already approved at a different percentage, that stored percentage stays in place unless we agree a change with you in writing in the portal.

Refunds, chargebacks, and support reversals can reduce or reverse a commission. If that commission was still pending, it is marked reversed. If it was already paid, Learn records a negative adjustment against a later payout. Fraud checks and corrections can do the same.

Web commissions stay on a 14-day hold after the payment before they become available to request. Store payments stay pending until Learn can confirm the settlement. Learn may also place a payout hold on an account while a dispute or review is open. You add payout details in the Partner Portal and request a payout when you have eligible available commission. Learn reviews each request and processes it. You are responsible for taxes and filings in your jurisdiction. Bank or payment fees may reduce what you receive.

6.Brand assets and suggestions

The Partner Handbook is the public guide for how we work together. Use it, adapt talking points honestly for your audience, and send product feedback from the Partner Portal. Do not change our logos or product UI in a misleading way.

7.Confidential information

Non-public information you see in the creator dashboard, early access materials, or internal emails should stay confidential. Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse internal systems beyond what the product allows.

8.Your content and our brand

What you create to promote Learn stays yours. When you use Learn screenshots, logos, or product footage, follow any brand guidance we publish and do not imply endorsements we have not given.

If Learn wants to run your content as a paid ad or reuse it more widely, we will ask first and agree the usage before that campaign launches.

9.Working with other education products

You are not locked into only promoting Learn. Partner with other platforms if you like. Always describe each product truthfully and do not imply that Learn officially endorses another company unless we agree in writing.

If we ever offer a separate exclusivity arrangement, it will be a clear, signed add-on — not hidden in these general terms.

10.Suspension and ending participation

We may pause or end your access to the program if these terms or our general Terms are broken, or if we need to protect students or the business. You can stop participating at any time. Some violations may affect pending or future payouts as described in your dashboard.

11.Liability

Our general Terms of Service govern limitations of liability. Nothing here removes rights the law says cannot be waived in your country. Discretionary payments or gestures do not create a binding precedent for future payouts.

12.Contact

Operational questions, payout issues, and dashboard bugs go through the Partner Portal, the Partner Handbook, and the Help Center.
