What this topic covers

This paper tests the fundamental skills of spoken English, covering receptive and productive communication. It assesses listening comprehension, including recognition of consonant and vowel sounds, stress, and intonation, as well as speech production through reading passages and oral composition. There are two alternatives: Alternative A (for school candidates) and Alternative B (for school and private candidates), with Alternative B being a multiple-choice paper.
